In 1986, Matthew Walther and a group of friends in high school begged our Deputy Principal Mal Bray, to let us run all events at our school hall.

Eventually Mr Bray caved in and our careers began. We spent all our money on buying equipment. We hired Roy Nicholls the owner of Raindrop Lights, ( who sadly passed ) to supply the audio and lighting equipment. He showed us how to assemble everything for our first school event. From that point on, he hired all of us to work for him and operate a variety of different events.

25 years on, W.E.W is a Family owned hire company of its own. We have had the privilege of making friends and being involved along the way with many different people, concerts, artists, venues and events.
